Internships

Some classes offer non-paid internships with teacher approval.  Students receive classroom instruction prior to internships.  Schedules vary from 8-32 hours/week depending on course.  Class meets one day per week when internship begins.  Students must have a flexible schedule and arrange their own transportation.  This is a great opportunity to add on-the-job work experience to your resume.

Internship placements are determined and/or approved by the instructor and are based on employer's needs.  An effort is made by the instructor to provide each student with an internship, but it is not guaranteed.

Age restrictions may apply due to labor law.  Other restrictions may apply depending on internship site.
